Reliable Trailer Repair in Lewis Center, Ohio

My car was a bit of a challenge figuring out the right hitch (plug in hybrid). The owner was knowledgeable and did the legwork to make sure the hitch we ordered would work. When the hitch was delivered on the day of service I went on a nice long walk at Shale Hollow preserve. Then easy as that they called me and I had a perfectly installed hitch. I wanted a low profile hitch which U haul doesn’t offer and the price at A1 for a low profile hitch can’t be beat. I won’t hesitate to user them again for my next vehicle.

A1 installed a tow package on my F-150 truck so it can be towed by my class A motorhome. I couldn’t be happier with service. They were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Their support is also outstanding.

I asked my dealership to quote me for a trailer hitch and wire harness and almost fell over with the price they gave me for the parts and labor. I really need to have one installed to be able to haul things without having to rent a pickup truck or bother friends or family. Called A-1 trailer and hitch and was asked a few questions on the phone about the make and model of my vehicle and told me what day to bring it in and the price. Showed up for the appointment and was taken care of right away and the job was done faster than what they told me it was going to take. I definitely recommend them if you need it done to your vehicle. I’m really happy with everything and they sell other things you might need to haul things safely.

Roger and team do a fantastic job! They have helped me with several trailers and completed work to keep our Scout troop on the road with the troop trailer. Fair prices and excellent communication. Called me back on a weekend when I called in and didn’t expect a returned call. Had trailers fixed quicker than expected. Can’t speak on the service, but my Subaru broke down in front of this place, and Roger was very helpful in reading codes + forwarding me to some place that can check it out. Nice and knowledgeable guy.

Roger was awesome and very knowledgeable.I came to him for my trailer brake controller installation not only did he install everything but he made sure I understood how to safely use and operate everything – also found additional problems wrong with my suspension that could lead to unsafe hauls & was willing to get it fixed for me in a very timely manor and best prices in my area !! I called A-1 in a jam. The wheel bearing seized on my boat trailer and I had to go to a family emergency. Roger put me ahead of other work and went to my location, replaced the hub assembly and towed my boat to his shop to r&r the other three wheels. His service shop is not typical of post-covid lame, lazy work ethic. He cares and his crew is trained to care. The fee for the 5 star service was amazingly reasonable $$. I recommend them without hesitation.

The hitch was installed quickly and setting up an appointment was easy. Service was great. Feedback though would be the waiting area is pretty off-putting. It feels very cluttered with abrasive political messaging scattered throughout. For instance, an image of a dog pooping on Obama’s face. It’s more unprofessional than anything. I contrast it with my local mechanic: Oxford Automotive who has a welcoming, spotless, and professional area to wait.

Nothing is better than finding someone who knows exactly what they are doing. First time stopping in with a new to me truck. The owner came out and immediately started working on getting my brake controller up and running. Within twenty minutes, I was all set to tow. If i ever need anything trailer related, I’ll be back. Highly recommend.

Had an appointment at 8:00am and did not have to wait. Was attended to immediately. The owner was very professional and knowledgeable. The cost to replace the trailer electric connector was totally reasonable. I would recommend A1 Trailer to anyone needing trailer repairs. VERY SATISFIED.

They will take great care of you here. Had my airlift installed a few years ago and then repaired recently when a muffler shop melted one of the lines.
